File Manager in Shared Web Hosting
The File Manager tool, that's part of our in-house made Hepsia Control Panel, will permit you to administer all of the files that you upload to your shared web hosting account without any difficulty. You can move files and whole folders by dragging-and-dropping them inside the account. You could upload content in the same way - choose a file/folder on your computer system and drag it to your Internet browser in which the File Manager is loaded. By right-clicking a file or a folder inside your account, you could also access context menus with more complex options - you shall be able to set up or to unpack an archive, to create a password-protected area, to change the UNIX permissions via a web interface or to change the content with a number of editors without ever leaving the CP – an HTML editor, a plain text editor or a code editor. We've also included help articles and instructional videos, which you may access straight from the File Manager to learn more about its features.
File Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
When you host your Internet sites in a semi-dedicated server account with us, you'll be able to use our feature-rich File Manager. The tool is an important part of the in-house built Hepsia Control Panel and is just as simple and intuitive to use. It will only take a mouse click to set up, rename or delete a file or a folder inside your account and for your comfort, you will be able to sort the content by size, name, type or last modified date. As the File Manager supports drag-and-drop actions, you may quickly relocate any content within the account, including folders, and their structure will be preserved. If you want to upload any content, you will no longer need an FTP program, since you may drag-and-drop the folders straight from your computer system. The File Manager also includes more complex capabilities and you'll be able to alter file permissions, to work with archives and to edit files with plain text and HTML editors, which could be accessed through right-click context menus.
